CMA is seeking a dynamic, experienced and motivated person to take a lead role in the organization. Responsibilities include:
- Ongoing maintenance, development and promotion of the CMA member benefits and services
- Development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of strategies, programs and other initiatives to grow and retain the CMA membership
- Member recruitment, processes annual renewals and general member administration and services
- Participates in Senior Management meetings, and other meetings as required.
- Conducts research and produces reports for various stakeholders
- Participates in the development and the delivery of revenue generating activities and events including annual and special conferences
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in delivering high quality member services at a national level, preferably in a non-profit association
- Experience wiith managing registrations for conferences
- Experience with staff supervision
- High degree of proficiency in data processing, preferably using a membership database
- High degree of proficiency using current technologies such as MS Office, Internet etc.
- Ability to liaise effectively with members, Senior Management, staff and members of the Boards of Directors
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small professional team
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written in French and English
- Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or administration and/or equivalent experience
- Some knowledge of financial accounting principles would be desirable

The CMA offers a flexible work environment and a at benefit package with a salary range of $42,000 to $52,000.
