Well if you are up to the challenge, the New Brunswick Arts Board (artsnb) is seeking an enthusiastic summer intern.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have an interest in archiving and document/archives management

- strong organizational and research skills
- be willing to provide fresh insight into company practices
- be bilingual in English and French

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- administering the transfer of paper documents to digital files in a digital archive
- organize electronic archives chronologically
- liaise with the New Brunswick Archives under the supervision of artsnb’s Director of Administration
- keeping abreast of research developments concerning the arts in the province, Canada, and abroad
- preparing accurate reports
- helping to organize artsnb-related events
- helping to organize artsnb-related publications
- any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of artsnb

Location: Fredericton
The New Brunswick Arts Board is an arm’s-length arts funding agency with a legislated mandate to:
- Facilitate and promote the creation of art;
- Facilitate the enjoyment, awareness and understanding of the arts;
- Advise the government on arts policy;
- Unify and speak for the arts community; and
- Administer funding programs for professional artists.
Salary: $15/hour / 37.5 hour week (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily)
