Project Manager

CHRC is looking for a Project Manager to work on a major national cross-sector project on mentorship and succession that will begin in May.  It will be a 2-year part time contract at $50K annually. The position is based in Ottawa and is bilingual. The PM will work directly with CHRC’s Executive Director and a national Steering Committee. In addition to having proven organizational and managerial skills, the successful candidate must have a good knowledge of Canada’s cultural sector. Knowledge of online learning is a definite asset.

The PM’s main areas of responsibility will be to:

  • oversee revisions to the CHRC’s HR Management Toolkit (Year 1);
  • oversee the development of Webinars based on the revised Toolkit (in English, Year 1; in French, Year 2);
  • develop mentorship tools (Year 1);
  • manage identifying of mentors
  • manage identifying of mid-level managers as mentorees/protégés;
  • set up and run a mentorship program (in English, Year 1; in French, Year 2).
