Marketing Coordinator/Graphic Designer
This contract position is 50% graphic designer and 50% marketing coordinator for a 4-month period (April 1- July 26) comprising a 30-hour work week.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining festival database (Zoho)
- Coordinating ticket and membership requests
- Liaising with publicists and festival managing director
- Website ongoing maintenance (Wordpress)
- Social media content developing, creating, monitoring and posting (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Flickr)
- Creation/dissemination of regular e-newsletter (Mailchimp)
- Content management and distribution
- Coordinating with printers, designers, photography/videography team
- Production of marketing materials including: festival program, enewsletters, print and digital ads/banners, posters, banners, standees, backdrops, postcards, brochures
- Assembling and preparing files to meet pre-press and print requirements and deadlines
Candidates must possess the following skills:
- Exceptional organisational skills and strong multi-tasking skills a MUST, including project management experience
- Detail oriented a MUST
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to work with company branding requirements and templates
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and mostly In Design)
- Must be very web savvy and familiar with all the above applications (or most, and able to quickly adopt new programs)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Basic understanding of HTML
Experience:
- Diploma or degree in a marketing, communications and/or graphic design
- Experience in marketing, communications and/or graphic design related industry
